I’ve created a catalog of the types of brickwork used in constructing Mahockney – its foundation, cellars, and main below-ground or upright walls.
The styles and location-patterns tell a lot about the construction dates of the segments of Mahockney, from the original seventeenth-century English bond cellar right through to the “modern” American bond used in the 1820 addition.
